Automation Toolings for Presses with End Of Line Robots
End Of Line (EOL) Automations for Presses are developed by Schuler Pressen GmbH and offers automated transport of finished parts after the press final forming station. This improves production rates for large car body and chassis structure parts. Based on parts geometry are used 1 or 2 robots, 1 or 2 conveyors and 1 or 3 shuttles. Each of the robots and shuttles have their own tooling adapted to parts geometry. This kind of End Of Line Automations are the standard for presses at Automotive OEM's: Mercedes-Benz, VW, BMW, Audi ... and their suppliers.
