Since 1st of February 2021 company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH started, besides engineering, also to manufacture products for Automotive Industry, these kind of products were previously manufactured by bankrupt company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH.

During 2020, CORONA situation affected company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH, the number of contracts decreased, fixed costs were growing and was not possible any more to maintain the company profitable. During July 2020, after 35 years of continuous operation and over 50 employees, company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH started the bankruptcy proceedings with Hamburg District Court.
In the insolvency proceedings of company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH, no investor solution could be implemented. The operation of company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH was finally shut down on 31st of January 2021.
In October 2020, company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH started discussions with company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH bankruptcy attorney and signed an Asset Deal contract at 8th of January 2021 through which company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH bought all intangible assets, all electronical and paper documents, all IT Infrastructure, all manufacturing documents and engineering drawings of over 38800 unique Aerospace, Automotive, Port and Industrial products of company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH. These assets were transferred to the company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH on 1st of February 2021.
Today, company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH owns all drawings / 3D-Models / 2D-Drawings, certification documentation and all information about all products (single parts and assemblies) that company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH delivered in the past to its customers, including all products delivered in the past to its Automotive Industry customers.
Company GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH is able to:
manufacture and deliver all Automotive Industry products (single parts and assemblies) that company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH delivered in the past to its Automotive Industry customers,
modify, from engineering and/or manufacturing point of view, all these Automotive Industry products and adapt them to new customer’s requirements,
create new Automotive Industry products, from engineering and/or manufacturing point of view, based on all previous Automotive Industry products from company Quast Praezisionstechnik GmbH to meet new customer’s requirements

Each of the robots and shuttles have their own tooling adapted to parts geometry.
