2026 Surveillance Audit
Independent Review. Continuous Improvement. Controlled Engineering Delivery.
For GURUCAD, maintaining a certified Quality Management System
is not an administrative exercise. It is part of how engineering
work-packages are planned, executed, reviewed and delivered to
completion-center customers.
Quality
24 August 2026
EN 9100 & ISO 9001 Surveillance Audit Successfully Completed
On 24 August 2026, GURUCAD GERMANY GmbH successfully
completed its annual Quality Management System surveillance
audit conducted by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.
The audit reviewed the application and effectiveness of our
Quality Management System in relation to the engineering
activities performed by GURUCAD.
Our certified scope remains directly aligned with our core
engineering activity:
Engineering of structure and cabin interior.
This certified framework supports the controlled execution of
design engineering, stress analysis and substantiation
activities for VIP and Head-of-State aircraft cabin interior
programs on Airbus and Boeing platforms.
Continuous Improvement
Internal Review
Improvement Starts Before the External Audit
Our internal audit in July was used to critically review how
our processes can become clearer, faster and more effective.
Five improvement opportunities were identified across the
organization, with particular attention to our core
Engineering processes — Development, Design, Stress and
Substantiation — as well as supporting company processes.
Two of these improvements have already been implemented.
The remaining actions are progressing toward completion by
the end of 2026.
External Perspective
TÜV SÜD Audit
Using the Audit to Strengthen Engineering and Customer Experience
The surveillance audit provided an additional independent
perspective on how our Quality Management System supports
day-to-day business execution.
Through the detailed review and discussions during the audit,
two additional improvement opportunities were identified in
our Engineering and Sales processes.
Both will be integrated into our improvement activities with
the objective of making engineering execution more efficient
and further improving the experience of customers working
with GURUCAD.
Quality Ownership
Since 2023
Quality Management with Direct Engineering Experience
The continuous development of our Quality Management System
is coordinated internally by Marius-Elvis Albu, Engineering
Team Leader and Quality Management Representative.
Marius has been part of GURUCAD since the company's
establishment in 2008 and assumed the additional
responsibility of Quality Management Representative in
February 2023.
Combining engineering leadership with Quality Management
responsibility helps ensure that process improvements remain
closely connected to the practical requirements of cabin
interior and structural-provision engineering.
Customer Value
Engineering Delivery
What This Means for Completion Centers
A certified Quality Management System provides the framework
behind predictable and auditable engineering delivery.
-
controlled engineering processes
-
traceable engineering documentation
-
defined review and approval processes
-
structured corrective and improvement actions
-
production-ready, certifiable engineering outputs
These controls support GURUCAD's delivery model for
fixed-price engineering work-packages covering cabin
monuments, complete cabin areas and their structural
provisions.
Quality Journey
Continuous Development
Six Years of External Quality Audits
The 2026 surveillance audit also provided an opportunity to
review the development of our Quality Management System over
six years of external audits.
During this period, GURUCAD has continued to refine its
processes, quality documentation and internal controls as the
company and its engineering work-package model have evolved.
We value the detailed aerospace-focused audit approach of
TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH and the constructive
discussions that help us identify further opportunities for
improvement.
